I was interviewing to work at a Bayer Animal Health facility as a contractor in the QC lab. The interview was very focused on Core Competencies that were seen as relevant for the position. There were two people in the interview: the direct supervisor and the manager over that person. I was given a tour of the lab afterward. During the lab tour, we had a more informal conversation about their team structure and work practices, my instrument experience, and other topics.

They asked only capability questions (i.e. how would you react in this situation? what would you do it...Have you ever been in this situation?). It was very easy going with a panel of 3 people. They follow a packet of questions provided from Bayer, then they ask their own questions at the end. Nothing too difficult. They did NOT ask any scientific questions or quiz me on anything. They did ask about my instrumentation experience, however.
