1-hour interview with 15 min of presentation of my previous work, 40 min of technical (machine learning and statistics), and behavioral (mostly teamwork and leadership) questions. Then 5 min for questions to employers. I had 3 interviewers.

It was a single round of interview which lasted around 60 mins. There was a 10 minutes presentation in the beginning which could be about any of your previous projects. It mostly included behavioral questions and some questions on data visualization and statistical analysis.

I got my interview from the UIUC Stats Career Fair. The interview process had one round that lasted for an hour. We were asked to create a PowerPoint on ourselves and talk about ourselves for 10 minutes. The rest of the interview had STAR questions, questions on ML. Data Science and Data Visualization.

What makes you different from rest of the data scientists?
It took quite long but beside that it was well structured and completely digital using sucess factor. The communication was very personal and there was always someone about the process and the current status of the application
