Positive discussion with TA for a role I could have done in my sleep. Met with hiring manager who's ego was on another level. Seemed to only have read the last entry in my CV and fixated on that as my area of value, where I saw my impact in a different space. Conversation focused on her sharing her strategy to eliminate redundancy, while proceeding to detail all of the redundant roles she intended to create to execute simple tasks. When I suggested the possibility of combining some of the roles (based on past experience) she lost interest in the call. Got a call back from TA that they would not be moving me forward (not suprised) for the discussed role, but was asked if I'd be interested in a different role. I asked who the role would report to, and they said same manager...I respectfully declined the alternate role...

After the interview process, HR will gave news either you are accepted or not. So you won't be wondering for too long. Just another extra words here and there to fulfill the quota from this website.
