The interview was surrounded around talking about previous experiences in university and the knowledge regarding the field and future aspirations. There were two interviewers and they were very informative about the role.

What do you understand about your role as a summer placement student?

The interview process lasted around 30 minutes with two of the summer placement programme runners and was a fairly straightforward interview. Asked about different skills in different situations, also asked if I knew what they specialised in which I didn't know but they explained it.

Submitted CV and short personal statement online. Invited for a 30 minute interview with a manager and a senior. Relaxed online interview, was given the opportunity to ask questions at the end.
