Applied online by simply sending a CV and cover letter. Received an automated style email a few weeks later giving me a time and date for a telephone interview. Not much at all in the email to indicate what style of telephone interview it would be or what it would entail, i.e. duration of call, competencies, etc.
I am giving a thumbs down because they didn't stick to the promised time frame mentioned at the end of the phone call (took well over a week for a response) and they have ignored my email for interview feedback. Also, there was no mention of salary on the job advert, which I think is a pretty important thing to know, I asked at the end of the interview what it was, and was told a pretty poor sum for such a large, luxury brand company, why not just state the pay in the first instance? it's important. Anyway, I always feel like employers don't like you to ask if they haven't mentioned it themselves.
