*DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY FOOL YOU* *THIS IS A DOOR TO DOOR SALES JOB, NOT A MARKETING OR ADVERTISING ANYTHING.* (Most of these reviews and interviews are fake- that is why, for the second time, I'm leaving mine.) Dishonesty at its core. This is not a legitimate company, they will give you false information as to what you'll be doing. Don't bother wasting you're time if you're an actual professional in the workforce. THOUHG, If you're looking for a door to door sales job, you'll enjoy this. I have a massive list of red-flags, but here are some of them. - Couldn't get a real offer out of them. - Extremely eager for employees to start immediately. - Fake headquarters in NYC. - Typos all over their website and collateral. - BBB of CA has no idea who they are. They will be investigated. - Hiring practices revolve around scripts that are used by everyone. i.e. "Looking very sharp today", "Are you ready to make some money?" Again, this is a very shady thing going on here, BUT if you'd like to do door to door sales and cold calling type stuff, you'll probably be ok for a bit.

*THIS WILL BE A LONG DETAILED REVIEW* I initially applied for the "entry level marketing" position for Berkeley Executives online. Within one day I received an email inviting me to interview for the company with an attachment explaining the marketing tasks the position would be in charge of. My first interview (out of three) went very well, although the interviewer had a very "I don't want to be here attitude" I was still very excited. I received a call that night inviting me to a second interview the following day. The second interview was a one on one interview with one of the companies "junior executives" at an out of office location down the street (public location). The interviewer explained to me more information about the company, that they have over 50 locations across the world, that I would be able to have my own location within a year, be a top executive within a year and great incentives like vacations and Apple products. Exciting right? Well, as the interview continued on I began to feel like there was a lot of information missing from the selling bid, I mean interview. Like, what was I going to be doing on a daily basis? was this an hourly wage or salary? I really had to push for answers to get even a slight hint into what the position would partake in, but after several minutes I finally got an answer that I would be going to "low income neighborhoods and locations to sell services." Need I say more? The third interview was followed by a 30 minute break in between the second interview (there were other candidates there interviewing for the job) which was a five minute conversation with the "Senior Executive" basically reviewing the questions I answered on the questionnaire (quiz) during the second interview. Prior, to going into the third interview I used my phone to find out more information about "entry level marketing job scams", mind you I did a lot of research on the company prior to my interview(s) and found very minimal background information (as well as 50 locations? Their website only shows 2 locations). By the way, I'm not judging anyone that holds this position or is looking for a position like this one. But, I would recommend to anyone wanting to go into a marketing field to look heavily into "entry level job scams". I am a marketing major and I'm only looking to get my foot into the door for knowledge. However, after researching "entry level job scams" my recommendation would be to look into internships, administrative assistant or marketing assistant positions...or if you just want to make money, this pays about as much as a job at the mall. And as for me, I will be staying at my current job. Good luck!
