      I wanted to share my experience with the interview process at Bettermode. It was an unusual journey, to say the least, and might give you some perspective if you're ever considering applying there or just want to know how these processes can sometimes go. 1. Technical Assignment: The first step was a technical assignment. Without any introductory meeting or phone call, I was given a task to implement within three days. This felt a bit odd since I had no chance to discuss expectations or clarify anything. Still, I put in the effort and submitted the task on time. 2. Long Silence: After submitting the assignment, I didn’t hear anything for a month. Then, out of the blue, they scheduled a 20-minute interview. 3. Rapid-Fire Interview: The interview itself was... intense. They asked a series of rapid-fire questions and kept emphasizing, "We don’t have time, just answer quickly." The rushed nature of the meeting made it hard to feel valued or even communicate my thoughts effectively. 4. The Outcome: Another month later, I finally received their response. They told me, “Since we are one of the top companies in this industry, we can’t accept you.” That statement came across as overly boastful, almost as if they were looking down on applicants rather than respecting the effort and time people invest in the process. My Takeaway: Overall, the experience left me unimpressed. Their process felt cold, disorganized, and dismissive. I got the impression that they focused more on bragging about their company than building a respectful connection with candidates. Honestly, I’m happy not to work there—it didn’t seem like the kind of culture I’d want to be a part of.
