The recruiter interview felt fairly standard, but the hiring manager conversation was more challenging. It didn’t feel like there was much opportunity to discuss my experience or the value I’ve driven in previous roles. Many of the questions were repeated from the recruiter screen, and the overall tone felt more like an investigation than a collaborative conversation about the role and how I could contribute to Billtrust.
