First, you set up an interview with the recruiter, which was about 30 minutes long. A couple of days later, I talked to the VP for an 60-minute conversation about my experience and some technical questions about SQL and databases. That was interesting because SQL and databases weren't really on the job description but they had essentially developed their own system that utilized the SQL theory. Next, there was a hands-on assessment a week later. They made you learn their in-house system and basically tested you on that for 2 different. It took a couple of hours to learn and the test was 2 hours long (2 1 hour interviewers). The interviewer said they'd get back within 2 weeks. They never got back - not even a rejection letter after hiring someone. The recruiter was nice though but it would've been nice to just be told that you're not getting hired instead of being strung along.
