I interviewed with Bitmovin throughout July & August 2022. The overall experience was really positive. Everyone I talked to was incredibly friendly, easy going and welcoming. The hiring manager was fast to respond and happy to answer any questions.
I went through an initial screening call, a technical interview, then take-home assignment + presentation. I would have loved to continue the interview process, however, I was informed of a hiring freeze. Therefore, I couldn't complete the final round (cultural fit).
The take-home assignment was rather time-consuming for a Junior position (2 tasks, 6-8 hrs expected).
100% positive experience, and recommended. Make sure to enquire about the hiring freeze.

Everything moved along as quickly as possible, 4 meetings including take home task. The task was well rounded and gave a good indication of the day-to-day in the role. Dedicated hiring manager was very attentive and honest throughout.
