Applied with CV and cover letter in September and didn't hear from them until November but everything moved quite quickly from there. First stage was a one sided video interview with 3 questions, 25 seconds to prepare and 1.30 minutes to answer.
Within 2 days I was asked to the assessment centre in Edinburgh. 3 20 minute interviews with 2 interviers in each one. Everyone was very friendly, nothing too challenging. Hour long shl logic test which was pretty tough then 15 minute interview with the Director. She just wanted to ask you about your interests and figure out where you'd best fit.
They go through your CV in detail so know it back to front. Be able to speak about new technologies and where your strong tech skills lie and of course, why Blackrock.
hirevue interview done through computer virtually only takes about 10 mins and is average in easiness. questions are personal and not difficult. i am running out of things to say
submit your cv and cover letter then video interview, which is pre recorded, you have 1.5 mins to reply, 3 mins to prepare, it is easy don't worry, just 2 questions, prepare them in advance

It was 4 rounds in total :
1. Resume Shortlisting
2. Technical round - Basic finance questions and risk management questions along with hard puzzles(3 of them in my case)
3. Another technical round
4. HR and company fit round
