As a pretty seasoned SaaS sales professional this was perhaps one of the worst "first interview" experiences I have ever been a part of. When I applied to the position I was sent a link about a week later saying my first interview would consist of a video interview where I would record myself.
I think they took many of their questions from Googling " Interview Questions" as they are incredibly generic almost to the point I started to laugh when asked.
The interview questions are asked by someone at the company who records themselves asking the question and is used as stock footage for all candidates.
Then you record yourself answering the question asked to you by the video recording of someone who apparently works at the company.
Although this sounds like some sort of deleted scene out of the comedy classic "Office Space" I am not making this up.
I found it bizarre that a company that promotes "social good" puts you through the laziest and most impersonal interview screening process I've ever seen. The best companies simply do not do this.
Former employee interested in returning. I previously felt very highly of the company, but the interview process this time was disappointing. After being told my background was a strong fit, I was completely ghosted—no updates, good or bad. The lack of communication makes it seem like the company may have changed for the worse. Even if there is eventual interest, the experience leaves me hesitant to pursue further.
