initial interview is onsite, i dont think it is practical to go onsite for initial interview since anything can be done online.. if its final interview then I guess its okay.. like job offer interview sure ( contract signing ) but yea.. i hope they can make use of the online set up with their interview process because some companies are doing It and it saves money and time.
