Very scattered communication; initially they were very responsive and then I heard nothing for a few weeks. They reached out again apologizing for the delay and seemed to move quickly with 2 interviews in a week. The President and Vice President said they would get back to me by Monday; this was on a Friday. Didn’t hear anything until about Thursday; said they were still in the consideration process. After that and to this writing…about 6 weeks later still haven’t heard anything. Very unprofessional in my opinion. Not mad about not getting the job…just communicate….it’s not hard!

Reached out via linkedin and got a phone interview. From there, I got a face to face with the DVP. She then referred me to the VP and President for a phone interview. There after, I had a very informal face to face with the Pres. He was very happy to hear that I liked to wear Polo shirts. 3 days later, I was offered the job. I told them that I had another (really attractive offer from a competitor and needed a few days to review the letters). BBB was completely fine with it. I countered with an extra week PTO, which they accepted and was going to re-do the offer letter for me to sign. They were happy that I chose them over the other opportunity. That night I turned down the other organization, in expectation to be all set with BBB. The following morning, I get an email and instead of it having the updated offer letter, the email said ...
"I want to thank you for interviewing with us, but at this point it is best for us to part ways.
I wish you well."
With no explanation or even a response to my email asking for details. They BURNED me with no regards to my family or any care that I turned down the other job less that 24 hours before.
STAY AWAY.
