Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso BlockDox (Londra, Inghilterra) nel mese di apr 2024
Colloquio
The interviewing process was comprised of the following phases.
- Introductory Interview: Comprised of general questions about my experience, as well as some very basic Python questions.
- Live Coding Interview: A life Python coding exercise with a company's engineer consisting of fetching and processing some data from a RESTful service.
- Group Technical Interview/Cultural Fit Interview: A group interview with all the technical staff in the team. That was supposed to be the final interview.
To my knowledge, I did well in all phases, or at least that's the feedback I've got up to the last interview (the last time I've heard from them).
I was extremely polite and friendly in all phases of the process and I answered to all their questions to the best of my ability.
However, I didn't get any feedback at all, it's been weeks since the last interview.
They simply snubbed me without giving me any satisfaction.
I'm not sure what happened. I don't remember doing or saying anything to offend them. I was confident that I was going to get an offer.
I was surprised that I ended-up receiving such an uncivil treatment. However, you never know people's real character until after they feel like they don't need you or don't have any use for you anymore.

Colloquio
First interview with Software Tech Lead, was quite informal, a few specific Python questions. He said the goal was to see if we could work successfully together but it wasn't clear what they wanted to know about me.
