I applied to this role on Linkedin, where an annual salary range was listed. I had an initial interview with the hiring manager, and someone who had done some of the work in the role. Following that I was asked to provide references and a salary range Then a follow meeting up with the supervisor for the role which I was applying. Completely out of the blue the hiring manager tells me they're not hiring full time, and can only offer a hourly 1099 position with no set hours and no promise there would be a full time opening at any point in the future. Nor after 2 interviews were they even sure they were going to offer me the opportunity. Mind you this is after gushing about how impressed they were with my previous work and abilities. Complete bait and switch and overall just really bad business practices. I let them know I no longer wish to be considered after the abrupt and concerning change in the parameters of the role. Unfortunately, I would 't recommend considering employment with this questionable company.
