Applied through Linkedin and had 30 min HR interview. I wasn't selected in after the live coding session. This session had one python basic question that consists of 3 different parts. One more question was related optimizing data pipeline but it was just verbal.
Was approached by a Bloomberg recruiter for the role and then moved to the next round which was a managerial one. Did very well on that one (as confirmed by the recruiter) and was then moved to the technical round. Technical round had stats, ML evaluation, data normalization and python programming. While I did really well overall, I felt the interviewer was cold to me throughout the process. I subsequently got dinged after the technical round saying I wasn't upto the bar but I ran my answers through multiple experts and colleagues I know and they said I should've cleared the round and that the interviewer was too strict and knit-picky to not let minor issues pass since I was under time pressure to complete everything.

How will you normalize this table (picture of the table)
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Bloomberg nel mese di gen 2026
Colloquio
- Chill HR Screen, interview w/ 2 managers, two technical rounds, one final round with Senior Manager
- I just had the 1st round w/ managers. Prob not making it to next rounds lol
- Tip just from my experience (maybe your interview will be diff) for the manager round, be concise and direct. They will ask detailed follow-ups, so don't worry about flexing specific knowledge all in one go. I recommend starting with an overview (what kind of data & for what purpose). They will ask the specifics on tools, techniques, methodologies, & details.
- Good luck all! Hope this helps

Describe a Data Workflow you worked on. What validations/controls did you design/implement? How did you decide on thresholds for those controls? Did you work with many-to-many data relationships? What differing techniques did you use to handle different volumes of data?
