I had two interviews for this role, both of which went really well. For the second stage, I was asked to prepare a presentation and design proposal based on a selected brief. I received very positive feedback on both my presentation and design. However, I was ultimately not offered the job because the company decided they wanted a full-time staff member instead of the part time role that they advertised — a detail that wasn’t made clear at the start of the process. It felt inconsiderate of my time and effort to be asked to complete a detailed presentation and design exercise under these circumstances. They asked to keep my details on file for future opportunities, to which I declined.

The interview centers in sales questions, sales strategies, experience with customer service, some questions about design and about your knowledge of the company. They do ask you to roleplay to evaluate your experience selling products, engaging with the clients, etc.
