      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso BodyBio (Millville, NJ) nel mese di set 2018

      Colloquio

I had a phone interview. The interviewer said on an email that she wanted to know a bit more about me. On the phone she told me what type of work they were looking for (mainly print) and then asked me if I had ever done this. Which I had. Then she asked me if I would agree to do a test for them to see how I would work. That is all the questions she asked me. I found it odd and rushed but let it go. I agreed to doing the test thinking it would be something small. They wanted me to design a landing page which was quite involved considering that they want to add videos and multiple descriptions for their products like content and nutritional values. As well as an ad to point to this landing page. This requires you to read through their target identity profile as well. I found this to be odd considering that I was not hired yet and considering my brief interview of one question total which said they were looking mainly for print design. I had like 3 business days to do the project which I did. I thought regardless of the outcome I will have a portfolio price and will get feedback. I sent all the designs over. I relieved a reply that they received them and I would hear back from the creative team and that was it. After a while I emailed and heard nothing back. Out of stubbornness I emailed again a couple of weeks after again and the interviewer got back to me apologizing and saying I would hear soon from the team. I never heard back. I think it is disrespectful for them to waste someone’s time like this and not even have the decency to give feedback or an answer back. If you are going to ask people to spend days on a project. For you while not paying them you should at least show enough respect to give them an answer. If this is how they treat people I am glad they did not hire me and it seems I dodged a bullet.
