long interview process, I applied online, did 3 phone interviews, the wonderlic test, invited in for an interview with the hiring manager, CEO and 2 managers and completed another test. About a month later I received a call from a new hiring manager, the first hiring manager was no longer with the company (I worked out he was let go from the glares when I mentioned his name) and they wanted to bring me in for another interview, this time with the HR person and the hiring manager. The second interview was a waste of time and from the start I had a feeling they weren't serious, even after attempts to make sure they were serious before coming in, its too bad because I spent too much time and money going to visit them. Everyone I met except the hiring managers themselves were pushy, aggressive and sometimes rude, from the reception when I arrived through the interviewers. I was barked orders at, to sit, no sit there, to follow, to fill this out (a background check before the interview?!) to answer inappropriate personal questions while being ushered to a room, few people introduced themselves and the halls/cubes were quiet. I felt interrogated, not interviewed. Like they were trying to catch me in a lie or something. HR interviewer received a text and while I was in the middle of sentence interrupted me saying, hold on, while the text was looked at, then the conversation changed to the difficulties of technology. Is this something that they do to test how you handle rude management? I don't know. HR questions were entirely negative, not one positive question. And not one question from the hiring manager just conversational. I got the feeling that I'd have to deal with a lot of negativity in the job. The other reviews here about a cold environment and harsh management ringed true. I'm relieved I didn't get the job, I may have taken it even through my gut was telling me to run and quickly for the door. By far the worst interview process I've been involved in.
