Internal recruiter reached out to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. During the interview, the manager seemed to be reading questions directly from greenhouse and looking for specific answers. Following the phone interview, I gave more thought to the questions that were asked and sent a detailed email with follow ups after the call and received no response from the hiring manager or recruiter. However, I did receive a generic rejection email from greenhouse. I think a more thoughtful and personal response was warranted after the amount of time I put into preparing for the interview and follow up. I would not want to work at Bombas if the interview process is any indication of how they treat their employees.

The interview process ran pretty smoothly. The recruiter was a great communicator and updated me every step of the way. The process involved an interview with the recruiter, then hiring manager, and then a presentation to the hiring manager and select team members. They operate very much like a start-up, loads of questions, and a lot of discussion throughout the presentation.

The interview process was actually delightful. They were responsive and transparent throughout the whole process. I enjoyed speaking with the interviewers, as they both gave me a real sense of the company culture.

The interview process was professional and comfortable at the same time. I cannot say enough about the level of communication throughout the process, which leads me to believe the company stands behind communication with the employees as well. With each round they ask that you come as you are, really be yourself. It was easy to do as each round was professional in getting to know me, my skills and figuring out if I was a right fit for the position. The whole process was top notch and all that you read about online about Bombas proves to be true during the interviewing process.
