30 minute non-technical interview with an internal recruiter, then you will be asked to take a code test.
The code test is to essentially build an entire application based on Laravel and Vue. This is no small test, as you also have to write unit tests, jest tests, document the Rest API using Postman, and put the code into the cloud. This took me two days, whereas the recruiter said it would take about 2 hours.
Low and behold, after spending time on the test, I was told the position was put on hold and they were reevaluating. I know they never reviewed my installed web application, because I didn't see a new account/user created in the database.
They should have had me speak directly with the team before wasting my time. 30 minutes speaking with someone on the team could have gone a long way.
I have over 19 years of PHP experience and went above and beyond on the code test. The Github repository had plenty of prior forks, where I was able to review others' submissions, so I know I had a noteworthy attempt.

First a standard phone interview. We discussed the salary range for the position I was applying for, and I felt comfortable moving forward with the interviewing process given the range discussed. Then I went to the office and did "speed dating" interview where I sat with each of 5 employees (including both founders) and chatted pretty informally for 5 minutes each. It was an enjoyable way to get to know the employees, and a little about the corporate culture. However, I don't think they asked me enough valuable questions about myself or my skill set. A few days later, I received an offer via email. The salary offered was $30k LESS than the position's salary range discussed in my initial phone interview. When I responded stating my confusion about the significantly lower salary offer, I received no response. When I followed up a week later, still no response. What a waste of my time. If they had told me what the actual salary range was during the inititial phone interview, I wouldnt have continued with the interviewing process. Clearly they have a lack of communication on their team, not to mention the unprofessionalism showed by not even dignifying me with a response about what happened . I wouldn't want to work for booj after all this even if they had offered me the salary amount I was expecting. Horrible.
We appreciate your feedback regarding our interview process. We strive to do our best with communication and take feedback seriously. We are always looking for ways to improve our interview process and create a positive experience for both booj and the interviewee. On account of your comments we have changed some of our protocols to make sure everyone involved in the interview process has a thorough understanding of what was discussed during the initial phone interview.
We are glad you found the speed interview process enjoyable. The speed interview process is an innovative way for us to find quality talent at booj, and include various boojers in the process. We wish you the best of luck in your career search!

I applied online and got a quick phone screening then was invited for a phone interview with someone in HR that was very nice but didn't call me on time. I had to email her after 15 minutes and she apologized because she had a last minute meeting. So she called me about 40 minutes after our interview should have been. She has great questions and was personal. I heard back later that I got an in person interview. They were kind to do it on FaceTime because I was traveling during that time. As I was prepping I got a call 1 hr and 15 before the set time. I called right back and they said the video wasn't working on their end so we were just going to do a phone call with three other team members. I mentioned I didnt pick up the first time because our interview was at a different time and they shrugged it off saying they weren't given a specific time to call.. talk about very unorganized. I felt the interview still went well and I was very experienced for the position. My guess is my pay range wasn't what they were willing to get close to. 2 weeks later I got a super generic automated email from their system, which is unprofessional at the level I was at in the interview. Advice to management: fix the automated email address so that when applicants reply to interview times they don't get an automatic email saying "thanks for applying..." over and over again
