Applied online, answered some questions on application test and they got back to me the next day for me to arrange interview. Once you have booked your interview, you will get another confirmation and advising you what to before the interview. One of them you have to pick a product that you passionate about and learn it beforehand. Interview itself was quite easy, asked some questions at the office for 10 mins, just general generic questions and also availability, why boots, describe experience when you had to deal with difficult customer, what can you bring here etc .. then the interviewer took me downstairs to the shopfloor and he asked me to picked an aisle to make it easy for me, I chose the skincare aisle. I was quite nervous for this bit as I have read here on some interviews you might have to approach customers and try sell them something etc, fortunately for me once I picked my aisle, he only asked me couple questions like what would you do to make this aisle better, and how your actions would benefit boots and the customers. Then he asked me about my chosen product which then I had to explain to him whats its about and how would I sell it to him. The last question was he asked me to show him who is the confident customers and the one that need help and how did come to that conclusion. He took me back to office and offered me the job there and then but unfortunately the shifts that they have is not suitable with my schedule so I had to turn it down.
