I submitted my resume for a Consultant position via an Employee Referral. A few weeks later on a Thursday I received a call from a recruiter for an HR Screening. My referral sent my resume to his manager who forwarded on to the recruiter who called me. I was invited to a round-robin style interview the following day. There were about 8 interviewees present. Everyone was a little tense until HR assured us that we are ALL interviewing for separate positions and are not directly competing with one another. This relaxed the group 100%. As a group, we had a 30 minute overview of the company, firm structure, benefits, etc by HR. We each then were directed to our own interview rooms. We then had three 30 minutes one-on-one interviews with varying levels of staff from Lead Associates to Sr. Consultants.
Questions were all very straightforward and nothing unexpected. Be sure to ask good questions. I definitely noticed a greater deal of engagement by the interviewers when I asked more pointed, firm-specific questions.
The day went smooth and I was impressed with the entire interview process. The only thing I would suggest is a quick 5 minute debrief with HR. Our final interviewers simply led us to a lobby on the interview floor where we were then escorted out by security.
The following Wednesday I was emailed an offer letter. During the HR Screening, I was asked for salary expectations. The recruiter gave me a number that Consultant start at, I countered 10%. The recruiter said there was no guarantee but a note would be made. I received my countered salary.

The Booz Allen consultant interview process was pretty straightforward—started with a recruiter screen, then a couple of behavioral interviews, and a case-style or problem-solving conversation. Overall, it focused a lot on teamwork, communication, and how you think through challenges. It felt professional but conversational.

It was easy no case study just talked to two people back to back. I think they were two thirty minute interviews. They can be from different accounts and just walked through your resume
