I was contacted by a recruiter to interview for a position at Booz Allen, without any prior contact or knowledge of the company. My initial interview (behavioral style) with Booz Allen went fairly well. The person interviewing me (on-campus) had no experience in my field and asked me some pretty hostile questions (for example- Does you have classes that teach you how to lie?)- I am assuming to gauge my response and behavior towards him. We covered a variety of topics and went pretty in-depth into some of my coursework to familiarize him with my field.
After this, things got a bit strange. I was invited back for another interview in DC, but the company refused to work with me on the interview date. I had a previous commitment, that unfortunately could not be broken, and the recruiter wouldn't even budge on the time of the interview. When I tried to rearrange my other flights (for more than $500 out of pocket) and commitment, the company recruiter simply stopped responding to my emails. I didn't even get a courtesy, "sorry we are no longer interested in you," response.
