Probably the most unprofessional interview process I have ever been through. They are a start up so they have the mindset that they can treat people any way they wish and lean on the “we’re a start up so things are a bit unorganised” trope. Fact of the matter is I had over 4 interviews in the span of about 3 months. One interview I had sat waiting for 30 mins only for no one to show or let me know that something happened. I had to reach out to find out what happened. That sent the tone for the rest of the treatment I was to receive. They waited a month to tell me that they had changed the role I applied for and made it a temporary position. When I had declined to continue with the interviews I had been begged by THEIR recruiter to continue as I was a great candidate and I should speak to the CEO against my better judgement. The CEO was unfriendly and uninterested not surprising as he cut the call without so much of a thank you goodbye. A MONTH later I heard nothing so I reached out only to be told I’m overqualified and that I’m not a 100% fit as I don’t have enough experience? Biggest cop out I’ve ever read and an utter lie!! Stay away from this sham company. I will be ensuring my story gets out and people find out about how terrible they treated me to ensure these underfunded start ups start treating people with respect.
