The recruitment process took around three months, with long gaps between stages and very limited communication throughout. In the end, I had to follow up myself to get an update, and only then was I informed of a negative outcome. I asked for more detailed feedback, but never received any further response. Regarding references, I provided two contacts who were never approached. Instead, I was informed that the HR representative in Portugal would rely on her own network for reference checks, without any prior alignment or transparency. Overall, the process felt disorganized, lacked transparency, and showed little respect for the candidate’s time.
