Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Boston Consulting Group (Boston, MA) nel mese di feb 2018
Colloquio
I received a request to speak over the phone about a week after submitting my application online. I spent at least 18 hours preparing for this interview, but was only asked about 5 questions (the interview lasted about 10 minutes). The interviewer noticed that I’ve been unemployed for 4 months, and he made it seem like it was my fault, as if I decided to sit around all these months; little does he know about all the crazy things I’ve been doing to land a role... I told him that in the meanwhile, I have been volunteering as an statistic tutor, which was also looked down upon. Within few hours of my phone screen I received an email stating that they wouldn’t proceed with my candidacy because I didn’t have enough experience with one specific skill, when my resume clearly states my experience with the skill. Also, this skill was never addressed on the phone screening, so I’m assuming it was an excuse to dismiss my candidacy.
Overall okay experience. I don’t think I’ll apply for a role at BCG in the near future.
