About 1 week after I applied I was contacted for a phone screening. The interviewer told me he would definitely move me on to the next step but then didn't contact me for weeks. Turns out they were on a week-long spring break and then catching up afterwards. Eventually I had an hour-long video interview with a manager on the team, but their video conferencing technology was faulty and after working with their tech support for 30 minutes, we only got the video working 5 minutes after the scheduled time. I have to wonder if being late cost me the job. The sound dropped out too and we had to finish the interview on the phone. I got an email one week later saying I wasn't the right fit for the position.
