Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto 6 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Boston Scientific (Marlborough, MA)
Colloquio
SLOW! Took close to half a year between applying, interviewing and receiving an offer. It's like they purposly lead you on and drag their feet to see if you're in it for the long haul.
Domande di colloquio [27]
Domanda 1
If you are in charge of running a meeting and no one is listening to your ideas, talking over you, or undermining your opinion, how do you move forward?
How do you handle conflicting priorities or multiple projects with competing deadlines? How do you prioritize your work and tasks? Give specific examples
Tell me about a time your boss asked you to step in and run a meeting short notice, how did you captivate your audience, hold their attention and resolve the tasks/issues at hand?
Walk me through lean six sigma and kaizen quality theories and principles, how do they differ, which do you prefer? If you were working on a quality project and everyone had varying opinions and couldn't come to an agreement, how do you move forward and accomplish your end goal?
Tell me about a time you weren't able to make a deadline, goal, or metric? When did you know, how did you let your boss down, what was the impact on the team? How could you have improved your efforts?
Tell me about a specific time that you went above and beyond or made a significant impact on a project? What was the impact, how was the value measured, how were you rewarded?
If a major issue, that's a high priority and very visible presents itself at the end of the day on a Friday or before you are getting ready to leave for vacation (because this does happen, and will happen) what would you do? Walk me through your reaction and thought process?
Tell me about a time you had to persuade a colleague on a project to do something that they didn't agree with? What was the issue, how did you present it, did they change their mind? What was the outcome?
I want you to show me how you say no......If I asked you to do something, such as a project, that you have never done before, or you were already overloaded with work, how would you tell me NO. Go!
If I called you during Sunday night football and said you needed to be at the airport in an hour to resolve an issue first thing Monday morning at one of the other sites, how would you react?
Do you have a bachelors, masters and professional certification in your chosen field? If not, how do you to plan to accomplish such goals while working full-time? How do you improve your education and skill set outside of the workplace?
Interviewer holds up the phone, if I said I had your previous boss on the line (says the name because they do their due diligence ahead of time) what would they say about your work ethic, convictions, strengths, and weaknesses?
In your last roles, tell me about a creative solution you had to a problem? Tell me about an idea that was impactful? Tell me about a process improvement initiative you spearheaded?
Walk me through a past experience where you had to make a difficult decision? What was the decision, how did you come to it, what was the end result/impact?

Colloquio
I interviewed for a the job at Boston Scientific, and the process was structured and professional. It started with an online application, followed by a phone screening with a recruiter about my background and the role. Next was a video interview with the hiring manager, where I answered technical and behavioral questions. The final round was a panel interview with senior team members, including a case study discussion. A week later, HR reached out with an offer. Overall, it was a smooth process with clear communication, and the interviewers were friendly and insightful.

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Boston Scientific (Maple Grove, MN) nel mese di feb 2025
Colloquio
It was two interviews and then they decided to select another candidate but overall the process was good and the interviewers were knowledgeable and pleasant to speak with. Aside from that, Boston Scientific is a very large and competitive company and very difficult to even get into the interview process.
