I thought it was straight forward. Recruiter reached out regarding the role, I gave my availability to chat, than canceled last minute due to the hiring manager wanting "a different type of paid social media" experience while I have 10 years of experience in this field. What I am confused about is why confirm an interview before sending resumes over to the hiring manager for approval. Very unprofessional.

The interview process was very transparent and the HR was very attentive and helped schedule the interviews and was quick to communicate on the feedback and confirmation and given that this was my first interview in years after my first job, The entire process felt effortless .
