I received an email from one of their hiring managers, then completed a video recorded interview. The interview consisted of four prerecorded questions from current Box employees, and I had 1-3 minutes to answer on camera.

What is your biggest failure, and what did you learn?
One-sided, record yourself answering questions and you can record yourself again but can’t view it or pick between the two attempts. Not a good experience, but the general format that a lot of companies use nowadays is like this, particularly in the hiring of interns.

I applied online, then got an email from a recruiter asking to complete a coding challenge. There were three questions for two hours and they were relatively difficult. Typical questions you would expect.
