Initial phone interview with HR was less than 30 minutes. Asked mostly about experience. HR rep said she would pass along info to hiring manager. About a week later, HR rep called back and said hiring manager would like to interview. About 4-5 days later, HR rep called back to offer me job.

I had a phone interview that lasted about 20 minutes. The interviewer asked basic questions about the field and my career and gauged my general knowledge and experiences. I was then asked to come into the research lab for a follow-up in person interview.
