Typical tech industry interview process. The pattern follows: 1) Recruiter screen 2) Hiring manager screen 3) Loop 4) Take home assessment and presentation The recruiter also provided feedback on why I wasn't selected. That feedback is ironically why I had a negative experience. My experience was negative because it was made abundantly clear to me that I was perfect for the role, and wasn't selected solely because I hadn't worked at a direct competitor before. This was very frustrating as it felt like a predetermined outcome and like it was a waste of my time.

The interviews themselves were solid, a lot of good people there. But getting to the late stages and finding out they switched from allowing to work remotely to then being in the office is just a bait and switch and speaks to the messiness at the company.

Colloquio
It was highly ad-hoc and disorganized. I wasn't sure what to expect during the process and at the last minute was asked to do a panel interview without much time to prep. Also the questions were pretty much the same across all interviewers and feedback was that I didn't illustrate the skills desired for the role (when never asked questions related to them). It was odd.
