Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Britannica Knowledge Systems
Colloquio
1st interview, zoom: Presentation of my portfolio
2nd interview: whiteboard task
3rd interview: VP product, like the first interview.
4th interview: HR, small talk
All interviewers were nice, professional.
The experience itself was positive even though I was not accepted because the team manager called and showed lots of good points that she saw and encouraged me. It is a positive experience - very different from most places.
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 4 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Britannica Knowledge Systems (Tel Aviv) nel mese di set 2020
Colloquio
First interview - 30 mins: HR
Second interview - 60 mins: renowned exterior UX consultant
Third interview - 60 mins: VP Product
Fourth interview - 60 mins: HR Director
Then an assignment was given, which was to provide an in-depth functional analysis of the system and design "a cutting edge Ui solution" to one of the problems they are struggling with.
It was said that 40 mins of the Zoom meeting would be about the task and the remainder of the hour would be dedicated about the job position.
In reality the Zoom meeting was an interview with the VP Product, CEO and HR Director, 30 minutes was dedicated to my presentation, then the CEO started to "brainstorm" while the HR Director left the meeting. The CEO asked my opinion and asked for suggestions about his proof of concept of a new approach to the system.
No questions about the position itself.
I never heard back from them, infuriating! Leaves me to think their was no position at all and they are just "shopping around"
BEWARE!

We build learning systems. But imagine we would be like Google. We don't know our users. How would you display search results in different ways which are relevant to the user.
