Telephone interview fairly straight forward. Told i was successful immediately and offered a place at assessment centre. This involves group discussion, practical assessment and a face to face competency interview.

Customer questions etc Assessment day: About 10 of us on the day, all going different for different areas in general. The group gets split in half, half do an interview, and half do a practical task. The practical task is wiring a board. This is easy since the whole instructions are laid out on paper. You just need to read it before you go. Get about 15 minutes to do so which is plenty of time. Interview for me was facing 3 people, interviewer, note taker, and a line manager. I was told I kept going off point and began talking about something else. Talk too little, talk too much, you never know what the specific interviewer really wants. Presentation at the end, which was just a discussion on how to save money for a customer. This was just a group talk while you are being observed. Dont talk too much as you need to be seen as working well in a team, not as an individual.
