Informal chat with a couple of executives from the department. Very friendly and personal touch. Emphasize on the candidate's character and ability to react rather than focus on their experience or degree. I found it very reassuring to talk to the senior member of the department and they were open to questions I had. They have been very good at coming back to me through the recruitment agent.
