Ho presentato la mia candidatura di persona. La procedura ha richiesto 6 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Burger King (Ludlow, MA) nel mese di mag 2010
Colloquio
My first interview was a very brief discussion with the manager about how I just finished my second year at Mount Holyoke College and was looking for a job. I was given a questionnaire to fill out along with a very simple page of math equations to answer. The math equations were focused on money and how much to give back to a customer. In some of them you had only a certain amount of money broken into different amounts. So an example question would be that the order totaled to $20.12 and the customer gave you $21. You only have 5 pennies, 2 nickles, 6 dimes, and 2 quarters. Given this information what would you give back the customer? So you'd answer 3 pennies, 3 dimes, 2 quarters, 1 nickle. There were also opposite questions where the different amounts of each value were given and you would have to find the total you were given. So with the same numbers used above you'd have $1.25. You have to do all of this without a calculator.

I was asked what I was doing for the next three hours. When I replied nothing, just going home to read, I was asked to stay and that my training could start now.
The interview process was very quick and efficient. I was in and out within 30 minutes. The hiring manager was very kind and just asked behavioral questions. "How do you work in a team"? "Why do you want to work here". Stuff like that
Long and boring. I met all of their requirements but they wouldn’t hire me. The interviewer was fake nice. But aleast she offered me a drink. I interviewed with them 4 times, all denied.
The Burger King cashier interview is usually straightforward and focused on customer service skills, reliability, and teamwork. Interviewers often ask why you want to work at Burger King, how you would handle a busy shift, and how you deal with difficult customers. They may also check your availability and comfort with tasks like handling cash, taking orders, and keeping the workspace clean. Overall, the process is short and conversational, aiming to see if you can provide friendly service, stay calm under pressure, and fit well into a fast-paced team environment.
