BK came to our campus to present the Management Trainee Program and I applied through its web application. After submitting my CV and do online tests, I was invited (I paid flights and accommodation) to join the first assessment center (Business game + Cultural interview + Quantitative Interview). After that, I was invited again to HQ (this time they paid) for the final assessment center. It consisted of a 1 minute presentation about myself and crossed interviews among 5 candidates and 8 BK's EMEA VPs.

Phone call interview. Interviewer asked behavioral and logic questions.
The interviewer was very rushed and seemed distracted throughout the process. I was also asked to do a quasi-case, but it was not structured well and was awkward to do over the phone. Question involved a market study question on how to theoretically expand customer demographics.

The assessment centre was in a Business Game format where quick decision making, team work and presentation skills were tested. The process was not exactly stressful, but it was not easy to do well in the game. Burger King staff will observe you and gave comments during the business game. Some questions were quite challenging to answer on the spot. There is really no way to prepare for the business game, just come with confidence and some basic economic knowledge.

I submitted my resume and cover letter through my university's career services website. The interview was in person, one-on-one. It was very informal and I was able to ask many questions.
