This was a very simple, straightforward hiring process. Applications are filled out and submitted within the individual stores, with no option to apply online. Within three days of submitting an application I heard back from Burlington Coat Factory to set up an interview the following day. The interview was very simple, with questions asked about my prior work history focusing on my attendance, views on shoplifting and customer service experience. Four days after my interview I was called informing me that I was being offered an associate position with the store. My orientation Was scheduled three days after this call. There was no drug screening associated with this offer.
