It was completely on social media Messenger. When I started asking questions, the recruiter was unable to give complete or clear answers. She would not provide a website and when I said I had doubts, instead of helping me with my doubts told me to find another job. Instead of dropping the interview there, she continued to push for me to provide information I was uncomfortable with. She even had someone send me digital checks via email to convince me of her and her company's legitimacy. Except that the checks came from a different company and the email didn't have any identifying information. Apparently the email was from my supervisor/trainer, but there was no introduction, no explanation, just the checks. And again, when I questioned the legitimacy of the process, all the recruiter said was that no matter what I said or how I insulted her, she'd continue to do her job. I ended the conversation there. Unfortunately, before I'd suspected anything, I had already given personal information.
