The process was very thorough with multiple rounds. Butternut are obviously very selective about their employees and willing to take the time to hire the right person. It was an overall very pleasant experience and in line with their tone and culture of the company. I found the job on LinkedIn and applied through there where I answered a few questions on my application before being contacted by the internal recruiter Lauren. Lauren was extremely friendly and made me feel at ease during our first video interview. After the interview I was told I proceeded to the next round where I had to complete a role specific marketing task and send it back to them. After submitting the task I was called back by Lauren with constructive feedback on my task, my CV and experience, and told the next steps of the process. A few days later I interviewed at their HQ in White City with 3 members of the Marketing Team and a brief chat with Lauren (and also met some office dogs). The interviews were very thorough and ranged from my experience and skills to what I look for in a workplace and some out of the box questions. A few days later I was invited for a final round interviews with their head of people Claire and one of the co-founders Kevin. Overall the process was very thorough and challenging at times but I felt like I got to know the team who I would be working with a bit and understand a bit about their culture and values.

Okay interview, fairly tick box and not a particularly friendly interviewer. Received a generic email informing me I had not secured the job. I replied requesting feedback however never received a reply.
