      First they gave online challenge and then telephony interview. After that they scheduled Skype interview with 3 people which lasted 3 hours - All fundamental machine learning questions and a screen shared coding round. Difficulty level was good and is easy to fumble if you are not theoretically strong. Another call scheduled for another round of 3 people skype interview. Another 3 hours of behavioral interviews (focused on the work I had done). They told me that there would be another round with CEO which will be the final round. Even though all the interviews went very well, they send me a reject next week. Can you believe it! So after giving 8 rounds of interviews in total(including coding challenge) and 8:30 hours spent interviewing with this company (excluding the number of hours I studied preparing), someone would expect at least expect valid reason from the company. They gave me most vague reason for not selecting me which does not even make any sense - "As for feedback, the team thought you were technically up to par, however there were just a few others in the pipeline who had a bit more experience in certain skills that could be applied to a few projects we are planning." I thought experience part is taken care of in the screening process itself. If they did not think that I was experienced enough(which is printed on the resume), why to bother even engaging me in the process? Thank you C3 for wasting my valuable time. Please at least read people's resume before engaging them in the interview process.

      We are sorry that you did not feel your time was used effectively. We work very hard to recruit superlative data scientists who can operate at and advance the leading edge of AI. As you experienced, this is not a simple process; we devote considerable time and effort to candidate selection. As you know, a resume may provide a general summary of a candidate’s experience and educational background, but an assessment of a candidate’s command of the sciences and nuances of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, etc., can only be determined through in-person interviews and thorough skills assessments. Our process is both rigorous and highly selective. We appreciate your interest in a career at C3 IoT. It appears that in your case we could have done a better job in communicating our decision to curtail the process. We apologize for that. We wish you all the best with your career.

      I applied directly after seeing a job advert on LinkedIn. There are MCQ and coding assessment on Hackerank, followed by a screening interview. It all went well and got invited to the technical day. To prepare for the technical interview, I went through all materials and questions shared by others on this website and once I was half way, I noticed that the questions tend to be similar, except the pairwise coding. I recommend you go through questions here to be better prepared for the technical day. The interview was generally okay and the team was nice. Started off with Case Study (30 mins); followed by ML questions (30 mins); and finally coding (1 hour). There is barely time in-between to switch so expect to transition very quickly. For the case study, think out loud it helped me to figure the actual problem, as they only share the problem and you figure the rest out. The coding was fair, I had done a couple of Leetcode but they started off with Linear regression etc, kinda caught me off guard and wasted 35 mins on it. Though the program ran, the interviewer said there isn't enough time to complete second question, and we shared our coding experiences and clarity on a few questions. I am pretty confident in stats and ML knowledge but the issue could have been coding; so make sure you are up to speed with anything that can be thrown at you. Two days later I received a rejection email. No reason after having spend so much time is a bit disrespectful but we move on.
