The whole process took around 3 weeks. I was reached out by a recruiter. They scheduled 3 rounds of technical interviews. The first two rounds were easy-medium DSA problems. They went very well. The third round was supposed to be System Design but the interviewer did not ask questions anything close to system design. They asked me some react based questions, Data Modelling etc which I answered. In the last 5-10 min, I was asked another DSA problem. I couldn't complete it but the interviewer said they are fine with knowing the approach. I explained my approach clearly and they said they are fine with it. Two days later I got an automatic email from the greenhouse portal that this position will not sponsor for visa. I mean, are you kidding me?!! The recruiter did not have a courtesy to directly communicate that to me as it seemed like their mistake of not evaluating my visa situation. I wasted three hours of my time for nothing! What a pathetic experience. I won't be interviewing for them again for sure.
