Interns are a different story with CBS, felt like they just hired anyone. Told them about my previous experiences in broadcasting and why I wanted to work for them. The hardest question was "who anchors the cbs evening news?" -- you'd be surprised how many people don't know that answer. The people who run the internship program are a little scattered (they have their own jobs too) and when you have a question it takes them a week or more to answer, just kind of frusterating.

In my experience it was a 2 step interview process. Video screening and then phone interview. The video screening was answering questions with a countdown. The phone interview was about 30 minutes.

2 30-minute interviews. One with the hiring manager going over resume and basic questions. Another with the manager of the team you would be working for. They both were very conversational and it was not scary rapid-fire questions.

I sat down with someone on zoom and they offered me a job. That's it. It's all about who you know, not what you know. It was with two people, and they asked basic questions about my work ethic.
