I applied for the Sales Training Program then immediately received an on demand video interview with pre-recorded questions. A good approach to this type of interviews is to apply first using fake info to receive the interview link, then do it without recording any answers. This way you get to copy the questions and prepare answers.
However, I did not hear back. I guess I was not attractive enough

2. Think about a time when you had to learn a new skill or technology. Describe the situation, your actions, how you did.
3. Tell me about a time when you tried to assist someone, but there was a difference between your understanding of the situation and the other person's understanding. Describe the specific situation, the actions you took, and how the situation was resolved.
4. Imagine you were supposed to follow guidelines to complete several tasks but were challenged to complete them effectively and efficiently in order to meet a deadline. What would you do in that situation? How would you balance following the guidelines and completing the tasks on time?
5. Explain a time when you found an error or problem in your work or someone else’s that others may have missed. Describe the issue you identified, and how you found it. What did you do with the information, and what was the outcome of the situation?
6. Tell me about a time when a project was off-course because of poor planning or competing priorities. Describe the situation, the actions you took to address the issue, and the outcome.
7. Imagine that you were speaking with a cdw customer who is upset over a problem with a recent order. You try to talk with the customer, but they start to get angry with you as they claim that you are not understanding the problem. How would you react in that situation?

Colloquio
Pre-recorded screening interview (timed), phone interview, video interview, then another interview. I made it to the video interview, only to be denied the position without the promised follow-up. To make matters worse, I was denied a position as an Account Representative, so they either have two titles for the same position or I never interviewed for the position to which I applied.
Overall, the process was fairly quick (about two weeks), but my last interviewer didn't seem to like any of my answers, despite reiterating them to other CDW sales employees, who though they were excellent answers... I honestly think it was the interviewer, who didn't smile once and talked over me constantly, but I guess I'll never know.

45 minute phone interview, very basic tell me about yourself questions. A couple of behavioral questions. The next stage is an in person interview. I was moved forward but declined as I accepted a position elsewhere.
