Informal face-to-face interview at the Exeter office, just one interviewer (my prospective manager), and the interview lasted about 1.5 hours. No set interview questions or forms for the interviewer to fill in, I was mainly just asked questions about my CV to get more detail on the project management / business development tasks I had been involved with in previous jobs. Was also asked whether I was flexible on my expected salary. The interviewer gave a very informative run-down of the company and answered all my questions about the role and the company. There seemed to a be a bit of confusion though, because although the job advert sounded very much like they needed someone junior, but at the interview they then said they actually needed someone senior. The interviewer mentioned needing someone with 10+ years experience, and I only had 4 years experience so I'm sure why they bothered calling me in for interview. I think the job advert was not clear enough on what they were looking for. It took 3 weeks for the HR team to get back to me after the interview to tell me I had not got the job.
