After submitting an application, a woman from HR emailed me to schedule an interview with the hiring manager. They set up the interview via Microsoft Teams, so I downloaded the Teams app and joined at the time I was given. After about half an hour of waiting on video without anyone else joining, I noticed an email from the HR rep, copying the manager, saying I didn't join the call. She sent that email over 15 minutes before the time she asked me to join the video call, so there was clearly a mix-up on their end. I understand that mistakes happen, and I was fine to overlook it. However, after I politely explained that I joined at the right time and said I'd still love to talk, I didn't receive a response from the HR person or hiring manager. Unfortunately, I never heard from them again.
