Applied on LinkedIn and received a call from a third-party recruiter & company Recruiter . My resume was shortlisted by the company HR . This was followed by a VC round and 1:1 interviews. Unfortunately, had a worst experience of interview in the whole of my career. When the hiring is for seasoned professionals at leadership level the HR must be equipped with candidate engaging ability . In this company HR just do a post man job without any value add. After all the rounds of interview they have verified about my candidature in their network. I was zapped to hear from a known person on this. This is absolutely unprofessional of the HR & the management to have such practices followed. Had it been a case if any one had given a negative feedback out of any past venge I wouldn't have been considered for the role. Knowing this practice which is against the Hiring policy , I did not pursue it further. I cannot be associated with the company which is unethical and untrustworthy.
