This is for any of the interviewees looking for a review… I was asked about my average uni mark and why it wasn’t a higher mark… which I thought was strange, then asked about my hsc mark… which by the way was over 5 years ago and no one has ever asked me about grades before. Personally I felt attacked, not everyone is going to get great marks across all areas because you’re good at some and bad at others, so to expect someone to get distinctions or credits was a very personal question regarding my studies. Also, I was only contacted about 2 days prior to my interview and i was expected to research details about sleep apnea and the treatments, and the different payment plans which I didn’t know much of but given the fact that I only had 2 days to research whilst working full time and studying a masters, I tried to answer to the best of my ability. I’d say that that time frame wasn’t a good enough amount to brush up on everything that I’ve never really learnt about before. If this is how I’m treated during an interview process then I don’t even want to imagine what would’ve happened had I of gotten the job.
